I don’t recall Elvis ever covering other peoples hits?

really, elvis MIGHT HAVE HAD a few songs that others have had recorded, BUT GLEE, out of the over 100 songs, HOW MANY OF THEM ARE ORIGINAL SONGS? ……… have any made their way to #1? (I really don’t know) and if they had, have they stayed there for more than, say, a week? In the end, Glee will be remembered for a Karaoke show from the 2010s nameless actors, Elvis, A LEGEND.

It might also say something of the quality of TODAY’S SINGERS. glee has only been on, WHAT, A LITTLE OVER A YEAR? So, over a 100 songs, in over 60 something weeks, so, they are just DUMPING SONGS, all the songs that are on EACH EPISODE, (available for download from I tunes) and I guess all the glee nerds DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING RIGHTAWAY. But once the show is off the air, out of sight, out of mind. How long are they going to keep them in high school or are they going to graduate some and replace them/

It’s a silly and stupid comparison because Glee is neither a pop group or a singer. Elvis, The Beatles and all the countless acts that have charted on Billboards Hot 100 were artists who mostly performed original work. Singing Karaoke to popular hits then having fans of the show download them thru iTunes hardly qualifies the TV show to be mentioned in the same breath as real artists. It’s a joke that you even report it likes its some sort of real accomplishment on par with Elvis, The Beatles & James Brown.
