Giuliana Rancic Returns to Work Two Weeks After Double Mastectomy

Giuliana Rancic returned to her job at E! today, just two weeks after undergoing double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

“Back at work today since surgery,” tweeted the TV personality. Excited to be on set of @ENews. I’ve missed my 2nd family (co-workers and you guys!!!) #thankful.”

In October, Rancic revealed that she had breast cancer during an appearance on the “Today Show.”

She subsequently had a double lumpectomy to treat the disease, but when the procedure failed to give her a clean bill of health, opted to go forward with the double mastectomy.

Now she’s back at E!, doing what she loves.

Here’s hoping her recovery continues to be speedy!

    I think its awesome how well she is fighting and what she going threw i think its amazing but at the same time i am sorry to say but this is a women who should not have a child!! two weeks is not long enough to let your body heal after something like that if she cant take the time to heal properly after having breast cancer and a double masectomy then how can she take the time off to have a baby!! im happy shes a survivor and i have a lot of respect for but in my opinion she not giving herself time to heal and she shouldnt have kids if she cant even do that

    I am sure she wouldnt be returning to work without her surgeons approval. Its not like she has to do any heavy lifting or physical labor. Returning to work that she loves is probably excellent therapy and can only enhance her recovery.
