Giuliana Rancic “Doing Well” After Surgery, Says Husband Bill (VIDEO)

Giuliana Rancic is “doing well” after her breast cancer surgery, her husband Bill told the “Today” show on Thursday.
“It was kind of a long day,” Rancic said of the two-hour double lumpectomy his wife underwent yesterday, explaining, ”There’s many steps in the process when you go through this.”
He adds, “She’s a trooper. She pulled through it and was kind of relieved to get it over with and get the cancer out. She’s doing well at home and recovering.”
Fortunately, “It was caught very, very early” he says, noting, “We’re going back to the doctor tomorrow. They had to remove a couple of lymph nodes and we’re hoping we get a report tomorrow.”
The “E! News” host learned she had breast cancer when her doctor recommended she get a mammogram before going through her third round of in-vitro fertilization treatments.
Rancic’s next step is radiation therapy.
