Ginger Zee Gets First Perfect Score On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy received the season’s first perfect score for their Viennese waltz to Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch their flawless routine on “Icons” night in the video below.
Last week, Zee and Chmerkovskiy underperformed just a bit. Len Goodman noted, “It was clean and precise,” while Carrie Ann Inaba felt Zee was very “rehearsed.” Generally, Zee fares a bit better than her competitors on “Dancing With The Stars,” though the past two weeks have not been her best performances. Still, the meteorologist from “Good Morning America” is one of the audience’s favorite stars.
Much like the season premiere of “Dancing With The Stars” and on “Disney Night,” Zee seems to have gotten her groove back. For her and Chmerkovskiy’s Viennese waltz dance, Inaba said, “I burst into tears.” She added, “It was powerful. It was elegant. It was perfection.’ Len Goodman felt, “It was just the right amount of everything.” He then congratulated Zee and Chmerkovskiy. And Bruno Tonioli expressed that it was “impeccable.”
Zee and Chmerkovskiy received a total of 30 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy’s “Icons” performance to Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
