Ginger Zee Dances Samba To Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ ‘Latin Night’ (VIDEO)
Ginger Zee and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced a samba to a half-English, half-Spanish version of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch the video from their “Latin Night” performance below.
Last week, Zee, the weatherwoman on “Good Morning America” and a new mom, won over the judges for her jive to the song “Move” from the musical “Dreamgirls.” After a series of weather puns, including Bruno Tonioli saying the “forecast is looking pretty good” for her on the dance competition show, and Len Goodman adding how she’s a “ray of sunshine” on the dance floor, Zee tied for first place with Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd and Wanya Morris and his partner Lindsay Arnold for first place, having received a total of 23 out of 30 points.
For this week’s “Latin Night” samba, Carrie Ann Inaba noted they had a slip up, but applauded them for getting back into it and doing a good job. Goodman didn’t love the dance, but praised them for accentuating “recognizable steps.” And Tonioli didn’t think it was their best performance, but said Zee provides a “feel good factor.”
For Zee and Chmerkovskiy’s dance on “Latin Night,” they received 21 out of a total of 30 points. Check out the video below of Ginger Zee and and Val Chmerkovskiy’s samba to Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
