It’s freedom for George Michael!
Michael was released earlier today from Highpoint Prison in Suffolk, England, after serving half of his court-ordered eight week sentence.
Outside his London home, Michael told reporters it felt “fantastic” to be free following his 27-day incarceration.
“I just want to start again,” he said to the assembled media, adding, “I’m going to try to stop running away from you guys.”
In September, Michael was sentenced to 8 weeks in jail, stemming from an arrest in July when he plowed his Range Rover into a one-hour photo shop in London while under the influence of drugs.
Do you think Michael has finally turned the corner?
