George Michael Gets 8 Weeks In Jail

George Michael has just been sentenced to 8 weeks in a London jail, stemming from his driving under the influence of drugs arrest in July.
The singer, who was high on pot, was arrested when he plowed his Range Rover into a Snappy Snaps one hour photo shop.
At the time, Michael issued a statement: “I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out.”
Well, now he’ll have just about two months to do that.
That incident marked the seventh time Michael has been involved in a driving-related police investigation. Officials questioned him last year after his car hit a tractor-trailer, an incident that followed a two-year ban on driving after Michael pleaded guilty to driving while on drugs in 2007.
No word yet when Michael will begin his sentence.
