George Lopez: Bill Cosby Gave Me Tips On Hooking Up With Female Fans (AUDIO)
George Lopez appeared on Tuesday’s “Howard Stern Show,” during which he claimed that Bill Cosby used to give him unsolicited tips on how to hook up with female fans. Listen to the interview audio below!
In 2013, Lopez took over the reigns from Cosby as host of the annual Playboy Jazz Festival, which Cosby had emceed for a number of years. Shortly before hosting for the first time, Lopez says he received a call from Cosby, who wanted to impart some words of wisdom to his successor. “If you meet a lady, put her in the audience. Don’t bring her backstage,” Lopez recounted Cosby telling him. “I was like, ‘What the f*** does this have to do with jazz?'”
“If you want to get blown, keep her out there,” Lopez recalled to Stern while doing a Cosby impression. He added, “None of it had anything to do with jazz.” The comedian went on to say that his phone calls with Cosby would last 45 minutes, “Five minutes had to with jazz and the next 40 about eating ass,” Lopez joked before adding, “Allegedly.”
Lopez also noted that the sexual assault allegations surrounding Cosby “could be one of the worst kept f***ing secrets” in show business. He went on to tell Stern that while he “didn’t particularly know” about Cosby’s alleged crimes before the news emerged, he “talked to some comediennes and comedians who knew that was an issue.” Listen to Lopez’s “Howard Stern Show” interview below!
