George Clooney Voted for Jeff Bridges to Win Oscar

When it came to choosing this year’s Best Actor winner at the Academy Awards, George Clooney didn’t leave things Up in the Air.
Rather than vote for his own role, Clooney happily punched his ballot for fellow nominee Jeff Bridges, whose work in Crazy Heart Clooney calls “an amazing performance.”
And if you thought Clooney was kidding around when he talked on the red carpet about voting for Bridges… there’s proof.
Clooney sent the eventual winner a photograph of his ballot. According to Clooney’s rep, he also told Bridges, “If you don’t win, you can’t blame me.”
The two starred together in last year’s The Men Who Stare at Goats.
