George Clooney Selling Lake Como House Before Birth Of Twins?
Is George Clooney selling his Lake Como house now that wife Amal Clooney is expecting twins? That’s the claim in one of this week’s new tabloids. Gossip Cop has the exclusive truth!
The actor purchased the Italian villa back in 2001, and often spends his summers at the lakeside estate. A new In Touch report, however, asserts that Clooney is ready to vacate his beloved hideaway because he doesn’t believe it will be a good environment for his babies. “Privacy has become a real issue,” a so-called “source” tells the outlet, which further purports that Clooney’s home has become “a very popular tourist destination.”
The outlet’s alleged insider goes on to say the actor “feels like he’s outgrown the house,” and “selling it is the practical thing to do” prior to the birth of his children. However, those of you in the market for a multimillion dollar Lake Como pad won’t be seeing any “For Sale” signs on Clooney’s property. Gossip Cop is exclusively told by the actor’s rep that the tabloid’s report is incorrect, and he simply isn’t selling his home in Italy.
Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time In Touch has published a bogus real estate-related story involving Clooney. Gossip Cop previously busted the magazine for falsely contending that Amal threatened to divorce Clooney over renovations of their London home dragging on. That report was untrue, and so is this latest claim about Clooney selling his Lake Como house.
