CLAIM: George Clooney “Doesn’t Like” Angelina Jolie and Finds Her “Boring”

According to Us Weekly, George Clooney “doesn’t like” Angelina Jolie.

The magazine reports that the Golden Globe winner “thinks Angelina is boring and not great company.”

What’s more, says Us, “He does not like to spend time with her,” and prefers hanging alone with Jolie’s partner, Brad Pitt.

Really?

Not exactly.

Clooney’s response to the reporting, obtained by Gossip Cop, is quite direct.

He says the mag’s story was made ”from whole cloth with not one word of truth in it.”

The publication has been wrong about Clooney in the past, and it looks like the actor is growing weary of the magazine writing about him.

    Exactly, I thought the same thing: she very rightly used US Weekly as an example of a publication that makes up crap…so they decide to do a smear job on her, yet again. I’ll never forget the story they did on Angelina, when she was in the midst of her mother dying. It was awful and cruel and I haven’t picked that rag up since.

    My thoughts exactly. Now that the other triangle gets no traction, they are creating a new one. They were even worse when they had that other editor who did that hit job after they adopted Pax (Janice Min) and other equally nasty stories. Funny now that Min is in charge of the Hollywood Reporter, she has done wonderful articles on Angelina and Brad. Guess the tabloid business makes people evil.

    George clearly is close to Brad and he would lose that friendship in a second if anything like this was true and George values his friendship much too much.

    If US Weekly runs that story and attributes it to George Clooney they are looking at a big fat lawsuit. Clooney is friendly with both Pitt and Jolie and doesn’t appreciate the tabloids fabricating bullshit he never said.

When she was at US Weekly she ran multiple stories about all lies the other tabloids printed about the Jolie-Pitt family but she conveniently forgot all the bullshit printed in her own slag rag. The lies she ran while Angie was adopting Pax were absolutely despicable.

    Unlike Angelina and Brad, George doesn’t like being lied about in the rags and lets everybody know it. Glad he’s on top of this latest crap from US. However, don’t expect George to file a lawsuit. As I have mentioned many times, the libel/slander laws in the U.S. are not as easy to win as they are in other countries and that’s why celebrities choose to not file suits. George will do better to just embarrassed US and other rags by pointing out how ignorant they all are.

    Way in the couple’s controversial past, Brad Pitt told the press that some of his buddies were not big on Angelina Jolie. I think we can assume one of those buddies may have been Clooney — but so what? Geo. is entitled to his opinion and preferences, and he certainly knows the terrain where women are concerned. But it is hard to imagine Angelina as boring, of all things.

    She and Brad did she News Of The World when NOTW ran a false story that they were splitting up. NOTW had to issue a public apology, admit they lied, and they paid out a hefty amount in damages that went to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

    I agree, except for the part about George. Brad has more friends than just George so Brad intimating that his friends weren’t big on Jolie doesn’t necessarily mean George was one of them. Remember back then Angelina was just getting out of her wearing vials of her partners blood, making out with her brother wild child days. She seems to have left those days far behind her but I could see some of Brad’s buddies thinking that maybe Angelina wasn’t the best person to hook up with. What I really agree with is how silly the concept of Jolie as boring sounds. It really is hard to imagine Angelina as boring.
