George Clooney’s ‘Farragut North’ Cast Still ‘Up in the Air’
11:43 am, September 2nd, 2010
George Clooney is set to direct his next movie, Farragut North, a political drama adapted from a play about campaign workers.
But while Paul Giamatti, Chris Pine and Philip Seymour Hoffman have been among the big names bundled together as done deals for the project, major roles have not been officially set.
Clooney “will direct,” his rep confirms to Gossip Cop, but the casting — including at least one of the names mentioned above — has not been locked down.
A rep for Pine tells Gossip Cop it’s “too early” to say whether he’ll play the lead as has been rumored.
Clooney last directed 2008′s Leatherheads.
