George Clooney And Amal Divorcing Over Faith Hill?
George Clooney and his wife Amal are NOT headed for a divorce over the actor’s friendship with Faith Hill, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.
According to the National Enquirer, Clooney and his wife’s marriage is on shaky ground, and he’s allegedly seeking comfort from Hill, whom the actor allegedly got close to while filming Tomorrowland with her husband, Tim McGraw. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Amal has always been unnerved by George’s harem of gorgeous female friends, and Faith is no exception.”
The magazine’s seemingly phony insider adds, “When George and Amal started having problems, he confided in Faith. Both their spouses are bothered over how close they are.” The outlet’s “source” further claims that this supposed situation will culminate in a “nasty $220 million split” between Clooney and the human rights lawyer.
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us that there are no problems between the actor and his wife, and their marriage is perfectly fine. We’re further told there’s simply “no truth” to the magazine’s claim about Clooney turning to Hill to discuss his (nonexistent) marital problems.
Unfortunately, Gossip Cop isn’t surprised by the tabloid’s phony report, since we’ve repeatedly corrected the Enquirer for fabricating rumors about Clooney and his wife. We recently busted the publication’s false cover story alleging the actor was “caught cheating” with Julia Roberts. Shortly before that tall tale, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for wrongly claiming Clooney had been caught at a restaurant with a “mystery blonde.” But in actuality, the “mystery blonde” was the wife of a music composer friend, who was also at the dinner. Suffice to say, the Enquirer has been caught again making up yet another wholly fictitious story about Clooney.
