Are George Clooney and Amal Clooney sleeping in separate bedrooms? That’s what one of the webloids is claiming. Gossip Cop has the truth!

“Trouble In Paradise? George & Amal Clooney Sleeping In Separate Bedrooms,” blares a new RadarOnline headline. Despite making it seem in the headline as if the couple is having marital problems, the site then says the Clooneys are sleeping separately, “but not for the reason most might assume.” A so-called “source” tells the outlet that the human rights lawyer, who’s pregnant with twins, has banned her husband from their bedroom because “neither of them have been getting any sleep.”

The site’s questionable source adds, “He snores like a monster, especially after a few tequilas, while she’s up every hour virtually needing to use the bathroom.” The “insider” further contends that Amal “has zero libido right now and they both need their sleep,” so George will stay in a different bedroom until the babies are born.

But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who assures us that Amal hasn’t kicked her husband out of their bedroom during her pregnancy. Of course, it isn’t unreasonable for a pregnant woman to want to sleep alone from time to time, but the site’s assertion that the actor has been banned from their bedroom is simply not true.

Unfortunately, the webloid’s phony story isn’t particularly surprising. Gossip Cop recently called out RadarOnline’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, for falsely claiming that George was experiencing “sympathy pregnancy problems.” We also busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Amal is hiring unattractive nannies to prevent George from cheating. There was no truth to either of those stories, and the same goes for this latest one.
