WATCH: New Gangster Squad Trailer Debuts After Post-Aurora Shooting Edits

A new trailer for Gangster Squad debuted on Thursday.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, trailers for the mob flick were pulled in July after the mass shooting at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado.

At the time, the preview for Gangster Squad, which stars Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn, featured its own shooting-in-a-theater scene that was eerily reminiscent of the real-life tragedy.

Consequently, Warner Bros. decided to re-shoot the controversial scene, and pushed back the film’s release from September 7 to January 11.
