Gabrielle Union Pregnant Report NOT True
Gabrielle Union is NOT pregnant, despite a wholly fabricated webloid report. On Friday, the actress herself debunked the site’s bogus claim. Gossip Cop is also told the pregnancy story is “not true.”
According to MediaTakeOut, Union and husband Dwyane Wade are “expecting” their first child together. The site claims to have “the first pics and video” of the supposedly pregnant actress. The repeatedly discredited webloid further declares, “This is NOT rumor, it is 100 percent FACT.”
The outlet then falsely claims, “We spoke with a person with FIRSTHAND knowledge of the pregnancy, who tells us that Gabby and D. Wade are ‘out of this world excited’ about the pregnancy. But they are waiting until Gabby’s out of her first trimester to announce publicly. Gabby is two and a half months pregnant.” “We can’t even BEGIN to imagine how cute that baby is going to be,” concludes MediaFakeOut.
But it’s all untrue, and Union herself blasted the MTO’s fabricated report, which naturally was regurgitated by such cut-and-paste know-nothings as HollywoodLife and In Touch. In a series of tweets, Union wrote, “Lmaooo… Newsflash! Women have these things called periods. On occasion there is bloating…and breathing. Meanwhile I’m enjoying cocktails.” That was followed by the actress writing, “Just becuz you say it and say it and say it and say it…doesn’t make it true or real. Enjoy the weekend folks, I’ll be at the bar.”
“Didn’t realize my uterus needed a publicist to account for its comings & goings (uterus hijinks! Whatta rascal) #periodwatch #bloatnotababy,” added Union in a third tweet, before firing off, “I know some are disappointed but ANY news abt my uterus will be shared by me. PS It’s weird to create fake pregnancies for ppl #periodwatch.” She last wrote, “I also have never responded to the COUNTLESS fake pregnancies I’ve been given over the years but I just SO love writing ‘uterus’ UTERUS JOY!”
For the record, shortly before Union slammed MediaTakeOut and the other unreliable webloids and tabloids for their inaccurate reports, a source close to the actress assured Gossip Cop she is “not pregnant.” Of course, this is not the first time the blog falsely reported that Union was expecting. In December 2014, Gossip Cop exclusively debunked a similarly wrong MTO story that claimed she was pregnant. The only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the writers at MediaFakeOut.
