Gabriel Garcia Marquez Dead, Nobel Prize Winner Dies At 87 In Mexico City

Gabriel Garcia Marquez has died.
The author of such bestsellers as “Love in the Time of Cholera,” “Chronicle of a Death Foretold,” and “One Hundred Years of Solitude” passed away on Thursday at his home in Mexico City.
A Nobel Prize winner, Marquez introduced millions of readers to Latin American literature, and was considered the most popular Spanish-language author since 17th century writer Miguel de Cervantes.
Marquez was 87.
