I also think that Halle is pulling out every and any trick she can, remember when not so long ago she blamed Gabriel in racism? They were together for years, had a child together, and now suddeny he is a racist?
I think Halle is angry that Gabriel don’t give up on their child!

I don’t understand why people are bringing up Halle. This story specifically says Halle was not involved. It’s fined that he wanted to keep Nahla home from preschool, but I agree that he should gage told the person hired to take care of her what was going on. He did not have the right to put his hands on her, especially not when she is holding little Nahla

True, he is her father and is responsible for her. But if the nanny was supposed to pick her up at school and she was not there, it would be worrisome and then she just wanted to know where she was. He should not have gotten physical and as stated above, Halle Berry has nothing to do with this and should not be blamed.

Ridiculous response! He has respect issues! Halle was not present… she PAYS someone to care for her daughter, to see after her. REGARDLESS if he is her father, there is a REASON the judge declared that he NOT be allowed UN-SUPERVISED visits!!! So to keep her home from school two days and not alert anyone was WRONG! Period! He has an attitude. NO ONE knows the inside TRUTH about why they didn’t make it – but for a judge to tell him he MUST be supervised… that has to make you go…hmmmm

The assault on his character in the immediate aftermath of their break up was indicative of some smarmy PR to smear his name so that she could get sympathy. It was so heavy handed, that is why people are linking her to this ridiculous story which reeks of extortion or entrapment. A nanny shows up at his house, grabs his daughter and questions his authority? She should have been fired.

A three year old goes to school usually because the parents are working or unavailable during those hours. Sometimes 2 or 3 days a week for a few hours for socialization. However, if Gabriel was able to spend time with his little girl that day, I can understand why he would not send her to school. Did he forget to let the Nanny know of this change? Perhaps. Seems like that. I can see the nanny going to the daycare and learning Nahla did not come in that day. At that point I wonder why didn’t the nanny simply CALL Gabriel??? She was probably ticked off she was not alerted.

Now I have a several questions that complicate this story:

In their custody agreement, didn’t Halle request that a nanny that SHE selected be with Nahla whenever Gabriel had his little girl? Does anyone know if this is still in effect? That seems to be a highly unusual agreement in a situation like theirs, and I can totally see Gabriel resenting it. This may have been a passive-aggressive attempt to bypass this agreement. IF it is still in effect, I assume the nanny came to the residence and insisted he follow this agreement. Yes, there may have been shouting since Gabriel resents having his parenting abilities questioned. But it is also a “he said, she said”, no? Also why was THREE year old Nahla in the nanny’s ARMS when they were arguing? (I wonder if the nanny sides with Halle?) Was the nanny setting him up? Who knows.

I don’t know any of the characters in this child custody situation: Halle, Gabriel, Nahla or the nannies. But I can not fathom that Gabriel is a danger and needs adult supervision by a nanny whenever he has contact with Nahla. I feel this is probably Halle being vindictive, and I can understand the anger he feels. If the supervision provision is no longer in effect, then the nanny was overstepping her role as an employee.

P.S. I only bring up Halle because of the custody agreement and how that may have played a part in this altercation.
