‘Fuller House’ Trailer Premieres On ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’: Watch Full Promo For Netflix Series! (VIDEO)
“Fuller House” stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber appeared on Tuesday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show” to premiere the first full trailer for the upcoming Netflix sequel series. Watch below!
The return of the classic ’90s sitcom picks up 21 years after the original, and sees DJ Tanner (Bure) as a single mother of three boys, sister Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) single and dating, and best friend Kimmy Gibler (Barber) now a divorcee with her own daughter. Much like the original show, all three girls are living under the same roof with all of their children.
Before the cast members introduced the trailer on the daytime talk show, DeGeneres asked about the possibility of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen returning for future seasons, should there be any. “The door is open if they want to,” said Bure. “We make reference to them on the show though, so they are not forgotten.” Sweetin added, “We definitely acknowledge Michelle.”
One of the highlights of the new preview features Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) at the dining room table with the whole clan, and announcing, “Before we eat, I have something very important to say: Damn we all still look good!” There are also references to the original show’s classic catch phrases, including, “How rude!” and “Cut it out!” Every episode of the 13-part series will be available to stream on Netflix starting February 26.
