Full House Lifetime TV Movie Cast Revealed — SEE FIRST PHOTO!
The cast of the upcoming Lifetime “Full House” TV movie was revealed on Wednesday. Check out the picture below!
As Gossip Cop reported, the network announced The Unauthorized ‘Full House’ Story in late April, capitalizing on the renewed attention the beloved ABC sitcom was getting after it was revealed a Netflix spinoff is in the works. Rob McGee, who wrote the controversial “Saved By the Bell” TV movie for Lifetime, signed on to script the “Full House” one as well. Now more than a month later, Lifetime just released the first glimpse of the cast.
The most notable name is Justin Gaston, known for his work on “Days of Our Lives” and as one of Miley Cyrus’ ex-boyfriends. He was cast as Uncle Jesse, with Lisa Hamilton-Daly, A+E Networks’ vice president of original movies, telling People, “Finding someone as good looking as John Stamos to play John Stamos was a challenge. [Gaston] looks a lot like John and has his same charm and warmth.”
For the Olsen twins, Daly said they looked “at a lot of cute blonde girls” before selecting Blaise and Kinslea Todd to play them as toddlers, Calla and Tyla Jones doing age six, and Kylie and Jordan Armstrong taking on the twins at nine years old. There were also younger/older versions cast as Candace Cameron Bure (Shelby Armstrong and Brittney Wilson), Jodie Sweetin (Dakota Guppy and Jordyn Olson), and Andrea Barber (Aislyn Watson and Jaime Schneider).
Rounding out the cast are Garrett Brawith as Bob Saget, Justin Mader as Dave Coulier, and Stephanie Bennett as Lori Loughlin. Daly tells People the film will showcase how the cast “ended up being a family” during its 1987-1995 run as one of the most popular shows on television. It’s slated to air on August 22.
