“F*ck It, I Quit!” — TV Reporter Quits Live On Air For Marijuana Legalization (VIDEO)
Charlo Greene, a TV news reporter in Anchorage, dramatically quit on the air in order to work for the legalization of marijuana in Alaska.
Viewers watching KTVA on Sunday saw Greene reveal herself to be the owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, announcing that she’d be “dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska.”
“As for this job — well, not that I have a choice, but f*ck it, I quit!” declared Greene, before giving a shrug and walking away.
The camera then cut to her stunned colleague, who was completely speechless.
KTVA immediately issued a statement: “We sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter during her live presentation on the air tonight. The employee has been terminated.”
Of course, Greene had already quit.
Early on Monday, she posted a video called “Why I Quit,” explaining her decision and what the Alaska Cannabis Club hopes to achieve.
