French Montana Donates $1 Million Bonus To Kids Education Charity
French Montana may go down as giving the most charitable gift this Christmas after donating $1 million.
The rapper received a $1 million bonus from Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy for a year well-done. But rather than keeping the money for himself, Montana has opted to donate every dollar to a new charity he’s founded. The non-profit organization will aid education efforts for kids in the South Bronx of New York.
Montana posted a photo on Instagram (see above) showing off the mock check and writing, “Shout out to @iamdiddy for that million dollar gift bonus #happyholidays.” While it may pale in comparison, the performer also donated to 100 pairs of Reebok sneakers to Bronx students.
It’s not clear where Montana celebrated Christmas this year. One place he definitely was not at was the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party. As Gossip Cop reported, a number of celebrities were in attendance, including Tyga and Drake. But given that Montana and Khloe Kardashian are no longer a couple, it’s unlikely he received an invite.
As for Diddy, he posted a number of photos on Instagram from his family celebration at home. He also revealed he “got want I want for Christmas” after making a RevoltTV deal with DirecTV. The mogul added in his post, “Hope everyone gets what they want this Christmas!!!” Thanks to his and French Montana’s generosity, some lucky kids just may.
