Fred Willard Fired From PBS After Masturbation Arrest

Fred Willard has been fired from PBS after he was arrested for masturbating at an adult movie theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The comedian was axed as the narrator of the network’s show “Market Warriors,” a spinoff of the “Antiques Roadshow” reality series.

The show’s producer said in a statement, “Given the unfortunate news reported today, effective immediately, Fred Willard no longer will be involved with the ‘Market Warriors’ series.”

“Antiques Roadshow” host Mark Walberg will take over as narrator of the show.

    Fred Willard has been arrested but not conficted. Why did PBS move so swiftly to fire Willard? Any person can be arrested for any crime but that person is innocent unless proven guilty. I am not happy with PBS or any company who jumps to conclusions before the facts or the issue is settled, in this case a trail and conviction.

    Wow. What in the world has his arrest got to do with that show? Also, as mentioned above, he hasn’t been convicted of anything. Bad move on the part of PBS.
