Frankie Muniz Recovering After Stroke

Frankie Muniz suffered a stroke last week, the “Malcolm in the Middle” star revealed on Tuesday.

The actor-musician tweeted, “I was in the hospital last Friday. I suffered a ‘Mini Stroke,’ which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”

Muniz, who turns 27 on Wednesday, did not give any additional information about the circumstances of his stroke or what may have led to it.

He is currently the drummer for the band Kingsfoil.

Here’s hoping Muniz’s health scares are behind him.

    27 is far too young to be suffering from a mini-stroke without there being more reason then needing to take care of his body because he’s getting old.

    No it’s not I now a 32 year old who is very healthy and thay had a stroke. It’s just more common to have one in old age.

    I guess my point was that it is so rare for someone in their 20′s to suffer from a TIA that it seems like maybe there is some undetected problem going on with him that may have caused it.

    They may have found a cause an he’s just not making it public.

    Mini strokes can be caused by untreated hypertension even in young people. People in general don’t take high blood pressure seriously. My brother is 28 with dangerously high blood pressure and is on meds. Hope he treats whatever caused it.

    Seems like the obvious answer.

    Especially since he looks older than me and I’m nearly twice his age.
