Frances Bean Cobain: Dave Grohl Did NOT Hit on Me – And Twitter Should Ban Mom

Frances Bean Cobain is speaking out about bizarre rumors linking her to Dave Grohl, her late father Kurt’s Nirvana bandmate.

The buzz started with Cobain’s mother, Courtney Love, who recently tweeted (on a private Twitter account) about Foo Fighters frontman Grohl hitting on and trying to seduce her daughter.

Grohl immediately denied the allegations in Love’s graphic, rambling rant as “upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”

Now, Cobain herself is breaking her silence.

“While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn,” says the 19-year-old.

She declares, “I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.”

Cobain then adds, “Twitter should ban my mother.”

    Hopefully, she is her own person, since her father had his own set of demons to deal with from addiction to suicide. She is lucky she has others to help with her life.

    I’m still focusing on her biological mother comment, there’s nothing wrong with that. At least she has some type of mother figure in her life, at least that’s what I got from that comment.

    I agree with Mrsbradley. I could see a playful flirt, or a hug. Something two friends would probably do. I think we forget this is Courtney we’re refering to. This woman will do anything short of murder possibly to demean her own child(I’ve been there) and Grohl and Novoselic due to the fight over Nirvana’s back catalog.
