FOX Stars Promote Unity In Super Bowl Promo (VIDEO)
The stars of FOX shows star in a new Super Bowl promo promoting not just the game, but also unity and togetherness. Watch below.
In the 30-second commercial, cast members from “Empire,” “Gotham,” “Bones,” “New Girl” and more recite an inspirational message for viewers, with each person reading one part. Put all together, they say, “Very soon, over 100 million people around the world will be watching the Super Bowl. From the smallest towns to the biggest cities, people of every race, every color, every religion, are sharing this moment together, which proves once again that the things that divide us are small compared to the great many things that unite us. From all of us at FOX, thanks for watching.”
Among the celebrities featured are Queen Latifah, Emily Deschanel, Benjamin Bratt, Zooey Deschanel, Terrence Howard, Benjamin McKenzie, Taraji P. Henson, Damon Wayans, Will Forte, Kaitlin Olson, David Boreanaz, Jussie Smollett, and Gordon Ramsay. FOX, of course, is the network home of Super Bowl LI, which will take place on Sunday.
And the ad’s theme of unity fits right in with the theme of the halftime performance. As Gossip Cop reported, Lady Gaga says her Halftime Show will represent “equality” and “inclusion.” Check out the FOX promo below, and be sure to come back to Gossip Cop this weekend for Super Bowl coverage.
