Yesterday, the ’Net was ablaze with a story that quoted Paris Hilton saying she believed in Santa Claus until she was 16.
Yes, 16.
At least two times longer than one can convince most children.
Correct.
According to a quote on ContactMusic.com, “I’m like a kid at this time of year and I just can’t wait. I literally believed in Santa Claus until I was around 16! My mom still puts a stocking out for me so I can still pretend.”
At first we couldn’t believe it, so then we called Kathy Hilton to wish her a Merry Christmas, and she confirmed, “She really did – until her teens.” Kathy, however, said that while Paris’ belief in the bearded, big-bellied gift-giver lasted longer than most kids, her daughter was exaggerating by a couple of years.
Kathy explains that the family loves the holiday: “We’re Christmas crazy,”
So what is Mama Hilton stuffing her daughter’s sticking with?
“Earmuffs, a necklace with her initial, a beautiful jacket, [and] a manicure set,” among other gifts.
