Fifty Shades Darker FIRST PHOTO: Jamie Dornan Is Back As Christian Grey
Jamie Dornan is back again as Christian Grey in a newly released black and white photo promoting Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. See the first picture below!
The “exclusive tease” was shared on the movie’s official Facebook page on Friday to help promote the upcoming Blu-Ray release of the first Fifty Shades movie. Dornan’s kinky billionaire character is seen stoically looking into a mirror while putting on a black masquerade mask. Oh my.
Fifty Shades of Grey grossed over $166 million dollars domestically when it was released back in February, and while the next film is still nearly two years away, the studio knows anticipation is high and gave fans a little something to tide them over until the sequel.
On Thursday, Universal Pictures announced the official release dates for the upcoming sequels at CinemaCon. Fifty Shades Darker is set for release on February 10, 2017, and the third movie, Fifty Shades Freed, is expected to come out in February 2018. Author E.L. James’ husband, Niall Leonard, is reportedly working on writing the next screenplay in the S&M saga. The first film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, is not returning to direct. A new director has not yet been confirmed by the studio. Check out the full first Fifty Shades Darker promotional shot below.
