Fergie addresses the rumors Josh Duhamel cheated on her with a stripper less than a year into their marriage in a new interview with Oprah.

“It was difficult,” says of the 2009 allegations and subsequent tabloid firestorm.

When Oprah asks whether the period brought her and Duhamel “closer together,” Fergie answers, ”Definitely. When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership… it does for us, anyway. Our love today is a deeper love.”

She continues, “We’re stronger today because of anything difficult that’s happened with us. We deal it. We communicate. Communicating is the most important thing.”

    Its so easy to say it was difficult or whatever, the fact is she accepted him back after it. Im sure that takes a lot but u can see her trust and faith has been shaken, things dont really go back to being normal.

    That’s not what she was saying. She said the allegations brought them closer. As far as we know, no one cheated on anyone.

    I agree things never go back to normal after being betrayed by someone you love, but one thing it does is make you look more closely at the relationship and see what things need changed so you can work harder at making each other happy again, sucks guys dont know how to communicate properly in the first place cause things could get fixed a whole lot faster if they and and to some women aswell.

    As a woman I have only taken back a man who cheated on me ONCE and I never will again. Once a cheater, always a cheater. If I hear about my bf being at strip-clubs AFTER-the-fact, there really is nothing else left to discuss. He knows how to let himself out.
