Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation once again tops the box office, beating Fantastic Four, which made its debut this weekend. The Tom Cruise film earned another $29.4 million, putting it safely ahead of second place finisher Fantastic Four, which had a take of $26.2 million. Fantastic Four is one of the few superhero films to NOT blow its box office competition out of the water. The highly-anticipated reboot has been ripped by critics and even its own director.

Coming in third place was the new Jason Bateman thriller The Gift. It made $12 million during its first weekend. Vacation secured fourth place with $9.2 million, while former chart-topper Ant-Man grabbed the fifth spot with $7.8 million.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Minions, the animated Despicable Me prequel, which brought in $7.4 million for a sixth place finish. Meryl Streep’s new musical drama Ricki and the Flash earned $6.7 million and the seventh spot. Trainwreck took eight place with $6.2 million, while Adam Sandler’s Pixels earned a paltry $5.4 for ninth place. And taking the last spot in the Top 10 was Southpaw, with $4.7 million.
