A fake tweet purportedly sent by Will Smith regarding the death of his “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” co-star James Avery has gone viral.

The Twitter account @FreshPrinceWiII (that’s two capital “i”s at the end) is NOT the actual Smith, but that hasn’t stopped more than 100,000 people from retweeting a Wednesday message about Avery (see below).

“R.I.P. Uncle Phil. All you real Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans out there… DON’T STOP #RETWEETING THIS,” reads the tweet, accompanied by a phony direct message conversation between “Smith” and “NBC” regarding a possible reunion episode to honor Avery’s Uncle Phil character.

It’s all obviously 100 percent fake. The real Smith is not on Twitter.
