Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are NOT headed for a “$150 million divorce,” despite a completely made-up tabloid story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

According to the National Enquirer, the two country music superstars have been on the verge of a split for a long time. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Tim and Faith are losing the anchor of their marriage.” The outlet’s questionable insider goes on to claim the couple has only been staying together for the sake of their kids, but now that their three daughters are getting older, they supposedly are ready to call it quits.

The “source” further contends, “Those gals are the glue that has held the family together… And I don’t know that either of them are sure they want to continue after their daughters are grown and move away.” Among the supposed issues between Hill and McGraw include alleged cheating, or suspicions of such.

“Faith is completely convinced that Tim and Taylor [Swift] had an affair while working together in Las Vegas,” says the misguided source, before claiming McGraw believes she may have cheated on him with Kevin Costner. But this tale of marital strife is totally fabricated.

Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for the couple, who exclusively assures us that the magazine’s entire account of events is simply “not true.” We’re told the happily married couple’s 20-year marriage is going strong, and the outlet’s allegations otherwise are unfounded.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Gossip Cop has called out the Enquirer for concocting a story about the country singers. We recently busted the tabloid for arbitrarily claiming McGraw and Hill were adopting a baby boy. Clearly, the magazine needs to find better (or actual) sources for the couple.
