‘Expendables’ Swallows Up ‘Eat Pray Love’ for #1 spot

The Expendables, a blow-em-up featuring Sylvester Stallone and a menagerie of past and present action stars, has easily outgunned Eat Pray Love, starring Julia Roberts, for the top spot.

The Expendables brought it $35 million to Eat Pray Love‘s $23.7 million.

Last week’s champ, The Other Guys, finished in third place with $18 million, followed by Inception with $11.8 million, and then Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, a comic book adaptation with Michael Cera, which earned $10.5 million.
