Eva Longoria NOT Building “Fitness Empire” For Latinas, Despite Report
Eva Longoria is not looking to develop a “fitness empire,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim, which began in one of the tabloids. There isn’t one word of truth to the rumor.
According to the ironically named OK!, Longoria “has set her sights on the fitness world: She plans to launch her own at-home workout series targeted specifically toward Hispanic women.” The tabloid then has one of its bogus sources say in a incredibly fake-sounding quote, “Eva noticed that there is a major lack of health resources for Latinas, so she wants to work with the chefs at her restaurant, Beso, to produce video segments about diet and nutrition in addition to her own Jane Fonda-style exercise DVDs.”
Obviously, the fact-checkers at the magazine didn’t break a sweat to see whether its latest claim was true or not. Not only was Gossip Cop told by Longoria’s reps that there was no truth to the report, but the actress herself said on WhoSay, “Have no idea where this story came or where they got these quotes?! But I have ZERO desire to do a ‘fitness empire” or “fitness video’. Hahaha #WhereDoTheyGetThisStuff.”
