Eurovision Live Stream 2016: Watch Song Contest Grand Final Competition Online!
The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest takes place on Saturday. Check out the live stream below!
Now in its 61st year, the annual competition features primarily European countries creating an original song to be sung by a native performer on live television. Votes are cast throughout by all the participating countries to determine which is the best. And as Sweden won last year’s event, it is now hosting today’s grand final.
The semi-finals actually took place in Stockholm earlier this week. After 42 countries were initially represented, 26 will compete in the final round. That includes singers and songs from Russia, Israel, France, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, Hungary, Armenia, Germany, Australia, Armenia, and the U.K.
Thousands of people are now expected at the Ericsson Globe to watch the conclusion. Swedish personalities Zelmerlöw (who led Sweden to victory last year) and Petra Mede will host the live proceedings, which are being broadcast across the globe. Even the United States is airing the show for the first time, even though the U.S. doesn’t have a contestant, with Carson Kressley and Michelle Collins serving as our nation’s commentators.
But many who aren’t actually interested in the competition will be tuning in for a different reason. Two words: Justin Timberlake. The superstar is set to perform his new song “Can’t Stop The Feeling” live for the first time.
It’s all slated to start at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. NOTE: Live stream is no longer available.
