Erin Andrews of “Dancing With the Stars” Gets Death Threats

There will be plenty of people watching Erin Andrews’ every step now, but not because the ESPN reporter is on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Andrews is receiving death threats.
E-mails describing specific, fatal violence against Andrews have been sent to her former ESPN colleague Dan Patrick since last September, says her attorney.
“Until very recently, [the messages] were of a sexual nature, but then turned violent” in March, lawyer Marshall B. Grossman reveals. He adds that the e-mails “are specific, they’re violent, and they identify the location and method of intended murder.”
The FBI began an investigation on Thursday and, according to Grossman, believes it has identified the culprit.
Andrews, of course, has been the victim of criminal behavior before.
She was secretly videotaped nude in her hotel room in 2008.
Last month, Michael David Barrett was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to a federal stalking charge for recording video of an undressed Andrews through her room’s altered peephole.
