MAG: Eric Johnson Cheating on Jessica Simpson with Ex-Wife

Jessica Simpson’s fiance Eric Johnson cheated on her with his ex-wife Keri, alleges Star magazine in a new cover story.

“He was sleeping with both of them at the same time,” a friend of Keri’s is quoted as telling the tabloid.

The mag claims Simpson found out about Johnson’s alleged infidelity in late September during a gathering with a group of friends.

“One of them made a joke about Eric and his ex-wife still hooking up when he began dating Jessica,” recalls a so-called “source” for Star. “After the friends left, Jessica asked Eric if it was true, and she blew up after he admitted to it.”

According to the tab’s source, “He’s a two-timing cheat! He was still having sex with Keri after he started seeing Jessica. She needs to think twice before marrying him. He’s already cheated on her once — he’ll most likely do it again.”

Star says Johnson is “lukewarm” about tying the knot with Simpson, and that this supposed cheating scandal is only making Simpson want to delay the nuptials, too.

A “friend” tells the mag, “She’s definitely having second thoughts about the wedding, and her loved ones are begging her to leave Eric.”

Uh-huh.

Let’s review what’s actually happening here.

Star has repeatedly been very wrong about Simpson and Johnson’s relationship, falsely claiming last December that her dad Joe was demanding a “shotgun wedding,” inaccurately alleging that her mom Tina was warring with Johnson over the couple’s baby Maxwell, pushing a bogus “diet disaster” narrative for weeks, and publishing an untrue report about Simpson allegedly telling everyone about her “X-rated romps” with Johnson.

Oh, and the tabloid also fabricated new pregnancy rumors about her.

In other words, Star has absolutely no idea what’s going on with Simpson and Johnson, and has been resorting to increasingly desperate allegations.

Hence, this week’s story in which Johnson is supposedly cheating with his ex-wife and was “caught,” although Star seems confused about whether it allegedly occurred once right after he began seeing Simpson or whether it’s still happening.

Either way, the allegation is 100 percent false, which is why Star can provide no details or timetable or specifics, instead hoping to sell the fact that the couple has not set a wedding date as some kind of substitute evidence for infidelity.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop the cheating story is completely untrue.
