Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart Coke Story Blows

Truth rating: 2

(National Enquirer)

(National Enquirer)

The National Enquirer is reporting that “Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart – recently the subject of a racy tape – were spotted doing cocaine late last year at a party in the Hollywood Hills.

The supermarket tabloid allegedly has a source who says, “I think Eric and Rebecca were there to get high. It didn’t take long before she asked where the coke was. They went into another room and started snorting lines of cocaine. I watched them do it . . . I saw Rebecca snort lines a couple of times – and Eric at least once.”

The only lines here are those fed by the magazine’s questionable source. A rep for the couple tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “It’s mean and untrue,” and that the supposed source is telling a “bunch of lies. If it happened, where are the photos?”

Enquirer sucks. Unless they have photos of something (and sometimes they got good ones) they generally make up or embellish stories. Keep fighting the fight.

While I don’t follow Grey’s Anatomy, and am not familiar with Mr. Dane, I do know of what his wife has gone through. Who didn’t hear it on the news or read it in the paper when she hit and killed that child in her accident. I’m sure IF she is doing things that aren’t so admirable it’s her way of self medicating, trying to dull her pain at having been behind the wheel, at having been at that spot at that exact moment. Accidents happen, it could happen to anyone. You don’t have to be rich, or famous for tragedy to strike.
While I do pity the child’s family, I pity Ms. Gayheart equally and feel this could be her way of begging for help. If she is on drugs, she needs to stop. To get help. Don’t let this child’s death have been in vain by going on a further downward spiral. Rise above, and make more aware of the dangers of driving and being on cellphones, of the dangers of not being aware of not just the other drivers on the road, but those who may be crossing those roads on foot. Pedestrians are hit, hurt and killed daily because so many drivers still think it WON’T happen to them, why not make this poor lost child’s life and death count for something? Why not use her celeb status to make a difference and perhaps, save the next child’s life rather than being the next sad story of yet another celeb overdose?
