Emmys Red Carpet Live Stream 2016: Watch Emmy Awards Online!
The 2016 Emmys will kick off on Sunday with a number of red carpet pre-shows. Check out the live stream below!
The 68th annual Emmy Awards are taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. But outside the venue, a red carpet has been set up for days in anticipation of the star-studded event. And dozens of cameras are on hand to catch all the behind-the-scenes action.
That starts, of course, with the glitzy arrivals of Hollywood’s biggest names. And there’s a few ways for fans at home to take a look at the festivities. The earliest coverage will begin courtesy of E! at 4:30 p.m. Eastern with “Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2016 Emmy Awards.”
Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, Ross Mathews, and Kristin Dos Santos will preview the big night with the help of a few special guest stars. At 6 p.m., the show transitions into “Live From The Red Carpet: The 2016 Emmy Awards” with Rancic and Jason Kennedy. Matthews will stick around to provide commentary.
People and its sister outlets, which are officially partnered with the Television Academy for digital coverage of the event, will start streaming its own pre-show at 6 p.m., too. Called “People & EW Red Carpet Live,” staffers from the publications, along with Alicia Quarles, will deliver live updates straight from the red carpet. It all leads up to ABC’s pre-show at 7 p.m.
“Countdown to the Emmy Awards: Red Carpet Live” will air for the hour immediately prior to the big ceremony, co-hosted by Lara Spencer and Chris Harrison. But that’s not all. Once the main event begins, fans can tune into “Backstage LIVE!” The online-only stream will give viewers a look at stars mingling inside the theater, showcase extended thank yous from winners, and feature peeks into the official portrait studio.
Gossip Cop will have full Emmys coverage all day and night. Keep checking back for updates! NOTE: Live stream is no longer available.
