(Emmys)

The 2016 Emmys nominations will be unveiled on Thursday, and Gossip Cop has a live stream. Watch the announcement below!

The Emmy Awards nominees announcement is taking place at the Wolf Theatre in Los Angeles shortly before noon. Anthony Anderson, star of “Black-ish,” and Lauren Graham, of the Netflix reboot “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” will reveal the nominations for the 68th annual ceremony, which is slated to take place on September 18 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel will host the upcoming event, which will air on ABC.

All primetime programming that aired between June 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016 was eligible for this year’s Emmys, which will honor the best in comedy, drama, miniseries and television film. There are more than 25 major categories, with honors for outstanding shows, acting, directing and writing. There are also technical awards, which are handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys.

The nominations announcement comes more than two months after the Daytime Emmys, which took place in early May. And like the Golden Globes and Oscars, the primetime Emmys are considered one of the year’s biggest award shows. Stay tuned for the Emmy nominations announcement live stream at 11:30 a.m. EST. Gossip Cop will have full coverage of this morning’s nominees and snubs. UPDATE: The stream is now over. Check out the video replay below!
