The 2014 Emmy Awards nominees were announced on Thursday.

Many deserving stars and shows got nominated.

But there were also plenty of snubs.

“Orphan Black” star Tatiana Maslany, who plays a variety of characters and is viewed by many as one of the top actresses working in television today, was again left out of the competition, sparking controversy online.

Meanwhile, dramas including “The Good Wife” and “The Americans” and comedies like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Parks & Recreation” were denied nods in the series categories.
