Emmy Rossum poses topless and reveals quite a bit more in a new interview with Esquire. The “Shameless” actress does the chat via Skype from her home and ruminates on how the technology has affected romance. “A friend of mine is in a long-distance relationship,” says Rossum. “They have dates on Skype. They’ll both watch the same movie and… play.” She explains, “I assume sex is involved. I don’t know exactly where they stick it in.” Speaking to the magazine from her home also gives Rossum chance to introduce her dog Cinnamon to the interviewer, noting, “He has a really big penis.” Cool.

It turns out the pet comes with some history. “He was a present… I wanted a Rhodesian ridgeback. But I had a really sh*tty boyfriend who gave [Cinnamon] to me,” explains Rossum. “And, of course, when a really cute dog shows up on your doorstep, you can’t be like, Yeah, no. You’re like, Oh, yay, puppy! Also: Never get your girlfriend a pet that she didn’t know she was getting.”

The actress says her “dream” is “to be old enough and mature enough that I won’t be considered an ‘old lady’ if I have a house with a barn. Because I already do needlepoint.” Not that things aren’t good at the moment. Rossum reflects, “It’s amazing how things can be put into perspective for you so easily. Last weekend, I was pulling out of my house, and I saw a body in the road and blood everywhere. This guy had been hit by a car. I called 911 and stayed with him.” She continues, “You see how lucky you are to just be alive. All the Hollywood bullsh*t and accolades and money really doesn’t matter. It just gives you a slightly nicer house and slightly nicer food and slightly shinier hair.”
