Emma Stone, ‘SNL’ Women Sing Holiday Candle Song – WATCH VIDEO
Emma Stone joined the women of “SNL” for a music video about how people give cheap candles to each other during the holidays. Check out the “Saturday Night Live” video below.
In the video, Stone and “SNL” castmembers Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon sang about how they give candles to friends during the holidays. Some, of course, like Jones even regift candles they were given and hand them to others. Mostly, the song mocked how prevalent candles are as a holiday present and how cheap they are, too.
The women of “SNL” have done several memorable music videos. Last season, when Ariana Grande hosted the sketch comedy show, she and the female cast members of “Saturday Night Live” did a video called “Not A Feminist Song” in which they sang and danced along a beach about how their tune was definitely “not feminist.” In 2015, Dakota Johnson joined the cast for a parody of the Sara Bareilles song “Brave,” which had the “SNL” women singing about they really would like to say to other people. There year before, Cameron Diaz joined the “SNL” ladies in the now classic “Back Home Baller,” which was about how young women were able to get their parents to do whatever they wanted, as if they were still little children, when they returned home for the holidays. And Anna Kendrick famously joined the women of “Saturday Night Live” on the song “Talk Dirty,” but it was all about “dongs.”
