Emma Stone NOT Trying To “Win Over” Eva Mendes, Despite Report
Emma Stone is NOT trying to prove to Eva Mendes that she and Ryan Gosling are just friends, despite a fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
A so-called “source” tells OK! that Mendes is “very threatened” by the relationship between her longtime boyfriend and his La La Land co-star. The outlet’s dubious insider further purports that Stone is aware of Mendes’ supposed concerns, so she’s “determined to win over” the fellow actress.
The “source” also goes on to say that Stone is considering having Gosling step in to ease the tension, adding, “Emma doesn’t want to put Ryan in an awkward spot, but what other choice does she have?” Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us Mendes isn’t at all worried about Gosling’s friendship with Stone, who she doesn’t need to “win over.”
Unfortunately, Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected this false narrative alleging there’s a love triangle between the three stars. In fact, we previously called out OK! for its similarly untrue claim that Mendes was “threatened” by Gosling and Stone’s relationship.
Additionally, Gossip Cop called out the magazine’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, for wrongly reporting that Mendes was angry about Gosling and Stone promoting their movie together. There was no truth to either of these stories, and the same goes for this latest one.
