Eminem, who has spent years railing against his mother Debbie Mathers, released a song called “Headlights” on Mother’s Day in which he apologizes to his mom.
The rapper, who previously said to his mother in songs like “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” “I hope you f**king burn in hell,” now sings in his new song that he’s “sorry” because now “I know it’s not your fault, and I’m not making jokes. That song I’ll no longer play at shows. and I cringe every time it’s on the radio… I love you Debbie Mathers.”
The video even features Eminen and his mom hugging (photo below).
On Sunday, Emimen tweeted a link to the song, directed by Spike Lee, along with the message, “Happy Mother’s Day.”
