Emily Maynard and Jef Holm Travel To Africa to “Help Change People’s Lives”

After weeks of traveling the world to film “The Bachelorette,” Emily Maynard and fiancé Jef Holm have once again left the country — this time, for a good cause.

The couple has gone to Africa for Holm’s company People Water, which supplies clean water to those in need.

The entrepreneur tweeted an airport photo (right) of himself, Maynard and two of his employees with the caption, “Emily Maynard & I are going to Africa to help change people’s lives.”

“I couldn’t love her more. She’s my best friend,” added Holm.

Holm and Maynard plan to visit nine different well projects in Ghana that have recently begun pumping water.

They’ll also do a bit of sightseeing along the way.

On Monday, Holm tweeted a photo (below) of Maynard at the Elmina Castle in Ghana.

    Visiting and sightseeing? Typical rich people/celebrity photo op. The same types show up for Habitat for Humanity all the time, get their pictures taken in overalls with a hammer in their hand and then beat feet to a luxury resort after two hours.

    As soon as this chicky and her fiance meet the mosquitoes big as hummingbirds, the cockroaches big as your thumb, people running through the bush with automatic weapons and no Starbucks until you get to Nairobi, they’ll be outta there like a shot.
