Emily Maynard: Why Brad and I Split [VIDEO]

Emily Maynard opened up for the first time about her split from “Bachelor” Brad Womack, telling the show’s host Chris Harrison, “Not a day will go by that I won’t regret how things turned out.”

In a special interview that aired last night during “The Bachelorette,” Maynard finally reveals what went wrong in the relationship.

The Season 15 winner says she was planning to move from North Carolina to Womack’s native Austin, but “little red flags” kept coming up, and she realized that her desire for it to work out “overshadowed the actual reality of the relationship.”

Maynard explains, “I didn’t doubt that we loved each other. I just doubted that he was still gonna want to be with me” down the road and, as a single mom, she needed that “reassurance.”

    That was the corniest interview I have ever seen! What was she there for, why? She said basically nothing at all except that she loves Brad and wishes they could have worked it out. Worked what out? What is the deal? I think she really was ticked that she didn’t get to be the Bachelorette…where did she think she was going when she left her daughter for 3 months to meet some stranger?? That was ok? She is a weirdo.

    I could well be wrong, but I think we caught a glimpse of the next Bachelorette. Having been born in the South and spending time with southern cousins, I can tell you that this is a typical Southern Belle. She admitted to getting jealous when she watched the show when it aired after the season was over. Did she think that she was the only girl he spent time with? Thats not how it goes and she must have known it. But with those girls everything is DRAMA. She wasn’t going to move, you see in her hometown she is that poor,sweet little thing that lost the love of her life because he was a race car driver.( Now in the South, that is a heros death). And the sweet girl is raising that baby girl all by herself. Geez. she is the local princess.

    Brad’s 2nd trip on Bachelor. I’m in TX and I’m telling u he would have cheat on her and never treated her right regardless of her child or the show. Don’t be so quick to say such crappy things about her! A leopard can’t change his spots…no matter how beautiful his fiance/wife is!!! Trust me!!!

    Have to agree with you, my ex husband is from Wichita Falls, Tex.,son of a Southern Baptist Deacon,(they are plentiful down there)After 12 yrs. of marriage and two daughters he couldn’t keep that pecker in his pants. He just could’nt resist his secretary, so he lost his family. Those Texas boys let that little head do a lot of their thinking.

    Emily is such a liar! In the after the rose special she stated that she wasn’t moving to Tx; here she is saying she was going to move. I think that she didnt want tpo win in the Bachelor but be the next Bachelorette. The whole show is a scam. Losera beware!!
