Elton John and David Furnish Welcome Second Son Elijah Joseph Daniel!

Elton John and David Furnish have welcomed their second child, the couple confirmed on Tuesday night.

Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born via surrogate in Los Angeles at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces.

The newborn joins older brother Zachary, who turned 2 on Christmas Day.

The couple says in a statement to Hello!, “Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. ”

“It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement,” the parents add.

Last Thursday, amidst widespread reports claiming the couple’s new baby had already arrived, Gossip Cop exclusively reported that the surrogate had not yet given birth.

    Homosexuality is a sin. God does not approve of this lifestyle it is wrong people. God loves gay people if they repent, just like he loves liars and thieves. What he doesn’t love is the sin they commit, but he loves the sinner. This is wrong on every level.

    They are depriving this baby of his very basic and primal need of a mother- for selfish reasons. While it is true he can survive without a mother, it is a fact that a newborn thrives best with his mother. Studies have suggested a baby is very instinctual and can actually sense its own mother and is typically naturally responsive to her from the very first days of birth Of course it’s not always possible to have to it’s own mother, but it should at least have a surrogate mother (preferably A WOMAN-who’s natural physicality and instincts are specifically designed to comfort and nurture an infant child)- That would be next best NATURAL thing for a newborn baby, not two old guys. Anything else…is a deviation from the natural development of this child. To interfere in the natural developmental needs of a child just because they want to have something- It’s wrong and selfish, I say.

    Wow, you holier than thou people are too much. A child will find love and care from two people that wanted him. In the meantime, there are tons of kids out there that are being abused by their parents. Some people are reproducing that should even be allowed. People think this is perverted? How do you feel about all of the “mothers” out there that abuse their kids?

    Happy for them, they seem to be awesome parents and have kept their first born out of the spotlight, raising him with good morals…..Congrats guys……Happy days ahead!
