Elton John says he’s helping Eminem battle drugs

(GettyImages.com)Elton John has come to the aid of Eminen in the rapper’s battle with drug addiction.
The legendary rocker told the BBC today, “I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly.”
Last spring, Eminem, who did a rehab stint in 2005, admitted that on a daily basis he was taking handfuls of Ambien, Valium and Vicodin.
John, himself a former substance abuser, added in the BBC interview, “I’m there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there’s no point advising people if they don’t want to do it.”
