Elton John Gives Super Bowl Advice to Madonna: “Lip-Sync Good” (VIDEO)

Elton John’s friendly (?) feud with Madonna is still going strong.

In a new interview with ABC News on the subject of his upcoming Super Bowl ad with Melanie Amaro, John is asked whether he’d ever perform for the halftime show.

“I’ve never seen a decent one… never ever,” he replies.

But he does have advice for Madonna, who has halftime duties at this year’s big game.

“Make sure you lip-sync good,” says John.

John and husband David Furnish, of course, recently went after Madonna for her Golden Globes victory, although Furnish later said his comments were “blown way out of proportion.”

What harm’s a little gentle prodding between pop superstars?

    that was just elton putting in a little dig that goes back a few years back when madonna won best LIVE performer and elton made the comment that she lip syncs and for people paying so much money to see her she should sing live and not to a recording… thats all…

    More than 40 years in the business, and still people believe, Elton John would know nothing about it. His work is a lot more versatile than most people see. Pop, rock, blues, soul, gospel, movie scores, musicals, writing for other artists… Yes, his remark is provocating, but very very true. “I have to dance” is no excuse for someone who calls themselves a musician. And I’m amused how every remark of his makes the Madonna fanboys whine like a bunch of teenage Bieber fans. Probably that’s why he does that. lol
